As Christmas approaches it’s definitely no doubt that things feel different this year. You were such a wonderful grandad that brought joy all year round. The Christmas songs I’m singing you are not to far from my memory when listening to them. And although your passing was a upsetting time, I’m trying to ask what you’d be saying right now. And that’ll be as Andy Williams once said ‘it’s the most wonderful time of the year’. I use our happy memories as comfort but also a reminder that life is so precious and I have no doubt you’d want us rocking and rolling around that Christmas tree! A tear or two may be shed but knowing you’d want that jolly spirit I know that’ll keep all people that were close to you going! Have a very Merry Christmas wherever you are, we miss you, we love ya! xxxxx

A character full of love, and a funny wit. My grandad will be greatly missed. A grandad who was so openly positive towards disabilities and life itself. A man with such pride of all his grandchildren and treated each of us as equals. His memory lives on in the music I listen to, and the simplest things in life I know his spirit will always be present around me.
Keep jiving, keep singing and rock n rolling!

Thank you for setting up this tribute to Michael.
We hope that it will become a space for you and for the friends and family of Michael, where you can come together to share memories and support each other.
